We were only here a couple of days, and it rained quite a bit, so we did not have much time to explore the area. Gulf State Park is known for its extensive boardwalk and paved trails that bicycles can use. There is also a very long pier for walking, fishing, and viewing the sunsets.

St. George Island State Park, Florida
St. George Island (also known as Dr. Julian G. Bruce St. George Island State Park) is a 22 mile barrier island. A barrier island is a long, thin, sandy stretch of land, oriented parallel to the mainland coast that protects the coast from the full force of powerful storm waves. There are 20 miles of beach on the gulfside and miles of marsh, inlets and oyster bars on the bayside.
Ho Hum RV Park, Carrabelle, Florida
From Grayton Beach we went to Ho Hum RV Park. It is located in Carrabelle, Florida. We had a site right on the water. Jake loves all the smells on the beach. Stunning 180 degree views of the Gulf of Mexico. They have a nice 250 ft. pier.
Grayton State Beach, Watercolor, & Seaside, Florida
Grayton Beach State Park was opened in 1968. Its consistently claimed to be one of the best beaches in Florida.
