Interior is one of the oldest Badlands towns dating back to the 1800s. It is adjacent to one of the entrances to the National Park and is one of the best places to find an RV park with full hook ups.

Mitchell is located in the southeastern corner of South Dakota along highway 90. It’s known for the World’s only Corn Palace. From Yankton, South Dakota it was only about an hour and a half drive to Mitchell.

Yankton, South Dakota is a small city on the banks of the Missouri River across from Nebraska. It is located in south eastern South Dakota just downstream of the Gavins Point Dam.

Branson is located in the south eastern corner of Missouri in the Ozark Mountains. The area attracts visitors from Missouri and across the country. Not only does Branson have an incredible amount of live entertainment, but the Ozark Mountain’s beautiful scenery and outdoor activities are a huge attraction too. The Ozark Mountains are between southern Missouri and northern Arkansas and cover about 47,000 square miles. The tallest mountain is Buffalo Lookout at 2,561 feet. The area is hilly with lots of rivers. From Eminence, it was a 3-hour drive to Branson.

Eminence is in the center of the Ozark National Scenic Riverways. It’s one of the nation’s first protected waterways. The park encompasses the Current and Jacks Fork rivers. These rivers are known for their clear, calm and cool water which is ideal for swimming, fishing, paddling and tubing. Eminence is a small town, less than 600 people live here. The post office was established in 1844. We knew this because we needed it to mail our taxes on time.

Hardin was our last westward stop in Kentucky on our way to spring in the Rocky Mountains. From the Red River Gorge to Corbin, it was a couple hour drive in the rain. It was also our last chance to see elk again until the Rockies.
